Job DescriptionAllied Universal® is hiring a Security Systems Specialist. The Security Systems Specialist is responsible for the support of all physical security systems including access control, CCTV operations, and dedicated alarm systems on a global wide spectrum. This position will also serve as the point of contact for training users to operate the access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
Annual salary $105,000.00RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage all operator users and utilize CCURE 9000, Exacqvision, and TDS for all Access Control, CCTV, and Visitor Management functions.
- Serve as a Project Manager for all Security System related migrations and projects
- Coordinate with client Security Operations Lead and Senior Security Manager on System projects
- Manage all Badge Administration duties and responsibilities
- Develop and manage all training guides for all security systems for end users
- Responsible for triaging and diagnosing all system errors and issues and auditing all critical alarms for functionality
- Serve as point of contact with Security Systems Vendor; manage vendor relationship; make recommendations to customer regarding service quality and upgrade needs
- Create all operator accounts for new and existing users for CURE 9000, ExacqVision, TDS, ITRAK, and Security Shared Mailboxes
- Update and manage all Security System Standard Operating Procedures
- Responsible for auditing all hardware, clearances, and events to ensure functionality
- Respond after hours to system-related emergencies
- Serve as Point of Contact for all Security System issues for all customer personnel
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Criminal Justice, or related field of study
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing or using Security Systems at an administrator level
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients
- Ability to write manuals, review, and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations
- Professional, articulate, and able to use sound independent judgment and discretion
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience using or managing CCURE 9000, ExacqVision and TDS Visitor Management
- Security certifications such as Associate Protection Professional (APP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
- Strong knowledge of Physical Security Procedures and Risk Assessment
- Knowledge of IT Networking (IP Addresses, Subnet, Gateways, Servers)
