SummaryThe Security Services Manager leads the planning, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise security technology new installations and existing equipment, across Jefferson's healthcare, University, and Corporate Enterprise environments. This role ensures the effective deployment, integration, and performance of electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, weapon detection, and related technologies.
The role oversees security technology equipment installation and maintenance, vendor coordination, physical security capital investment, and technical standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and life safety considerations. This role collaborates with stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable security solutions aligned with enterprise risk management objectives.
Job Duties- Manage multiple service requests across enterprise locations
- Oversee the enterprise security systems and maintenance service program
- Support training for security personnel and system end users.
- Provide security systems service updates, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
- Recommend improvements and technology enhancements aligned with the enterprise security strategy.
- Support system integrations, upgrades, and platform migrations.
- Ensure proper system commissioning, documentation, and turnover to operations teams.
- Provide technical guidance on system architecture, interoperability, and network connectivity.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma/GED
- 10 years of experience working with security systems, including service and maintenance across a broad spectrum of access control, intrusion
detection, and video surveillance systems such as Victor, Software House, Genetec, and Lenel.
- C-Cure 9000 Advanced System Integrator Certification
- C-Cure 900 Advance System Manager Certification
- Strong understanding of enterprise security systems architecture and integration.
- Working knowledge of network infrastructure and IP-based security technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory and life safety requirements in healthcare or complex environments.
- Working knowledge of low-voltage electronic security systems.
- Working knowledge of network principles.
- PSP - Physical Security Professional - American Society for Industrial Security Within 2 Years and
- GS - General Safety - OSHA Within 90 Days
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree or
- 3 years Experience and proven supervisory experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex service requests.
- Analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Financial acumen for project and services budgeting with cost control.
- Provide technical guidance on system architecture, interoperability, and network connectivity.
- Support system integrations, upgrades, and platform migrations.
- Review system designs, shop drawings, and submittals for compliance and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure network compatibility and data security
Additional QualificationsPhysical DemandsLift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
