Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Direct oversight of the company's security operations center (SOC) team while driving the success of the security monitoring and response program.
  • Supervise daily operations of the security operations center, ensuring 24/7 coverage and effective incident response to security and safety incidents and emergencies through company monitoring systems.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members while enforcing standard operating procedures for incident monitoring, escalation and reporting.
  • Use incident reporting and analytics to identify risk patterns and mitigate threats and potential negative business impact.
  • Lead staff in addressing security and safety threats, including trespassing, burglaries, robberies and workplace violence.
  • Collaborate with internal partners on strategic planning, preventative measures and incident response while supporting company initiatives.
  • Coordinate crisis management and emergency response logistics, including mass notifications and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain productive partnerships with law enforcement agencies to drive and support timely incident response and thorough investigations into criminal activity.
  • Ensure efficient data and evidence collection, including accurate incident reporting and adherence to evidence retention standards.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in managing security and/or loss prevention teams in a multi-location environment.
  • Prior experience managing teams in a Global Security Operations Center is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement or related field, or work history equivalent.
  • Expertise in leading emergency response and conducting investigations into security and safety incidents, including external theft, internal theft, fraud and workplace violence.
  • Familiarity as an end user with security and safety systems, intrusion detection and emergency notification technology.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills and well versed in using a data driven approach to achieving results.
  • Experience in using Microsoft suite programs - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes primarily overnight shifts.
  • Experience and comfort level working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel less than 25% may be required.
