Herndon, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology environment, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team culture built on integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a corporate technology office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office floors, lobbies, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, client contacts, and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:- Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
