Job Overview
Service Scope:
• Direct the day-to-day tactical work assignments, intake queues, and documentation priorities for the dedicated Technical Writers supporting the program.
• Manage the end-to-end documentation lifecycle including strict version control, formal change logging, and publishing approvals for all Policies, Standards, Deviations, SOPs, and Planning Documents within the "Hierarchy of Governance."
• Serve as the final editorial and quality control gatekeeper for all content produced by the Technical Writers, ensuring absolute consistency, structural accuracy, and strict adherence to established style guidelines before final deployment and publishing approval.
• Translate complex security and compliance framework requirements (including ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, GDPR, and HIPAA) into structured documentation standards, assigning explicit drafting and research tasks to the Technical Writers.
• Facilitate the operational workflows of the organizational change control process to ensure internal and external changes impacting physical security are systematically identified, logged, and assessed.
• Support the structural maintenance of standardized frameworks, templates, taxonomies, and style guides, directing the Technical Writer to implement updates as needed.
• Track and compile high-level documentation program metrics including document currency, review backlogs, compliance rates, and usage patterns to evaluate overall ecosystem health.
• Plan and coordinate periodic documentation audits and readiness checks under leadership guidance, leveraging the Technical Writer to compile evidence and track subsequent remediation efforts to close identified gaps.
• Prepare comprehensive program health reports and performance metrics dashboards for review by team leadership.
• Coordinate and track document review cycles, managing timelines and driving accountability among document owners for pending feedback and approvals.
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact between Physical Security stakeholders and Technical Writers on authorized assignments.
Compensation
Estimated Pay Range: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00 USD
Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
