DescriptionSecurity Engineer Logging and Aggregation - SecretXcelerate Solutions is seeking a Security Engineer - Logging and Aggregation to support Cyber Primes cybersecurity, privacy, records and information management, and related enterprise support for DHRA, including DMDC and OUSD(P&R).

Location:Alexandria, VA and Seaside, CA
Responsibilities:- Perform the comprehensive cybersecurity tool-monitoring responsibilities defined in PWS 5.3.1.1.
- Continuously validate that systems and applications are correctly configured for logging and that appropriate data-retention policies are in place.
- Maintain weekly records of logging coverage and configuration validation and document and escalate incorrectly configured systems or environments.
- Ensure integration with DHRA Cybersecurity Service Provider logging systems to maximize data available for analysis.
- Validate adherence to DoD and DMDC logging standards and support development of organizational logging standards.
- Apply LCAT expertise in security engineering, compliance checking, troubleshooting, and the design and implementation of network and security-management capabilities to logging oversight.
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience.
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- A Secret clearance is required when the assigned duties require classified information or SIPRNet access.
Compensation Range: - The anticipated salary range the Employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is $94,000 to $149,000 annually.
