DescriptionSecurity Engineer Cybersecurity Monitoring - SecretXcelerate Solutions is seeking a Security Engineer - Cybersecurity Monitoring to support Cyber Primes cybersecurity, privacy, records and information management, and related enterprise support for DHRA, including DMDC and OUSD(P&R).

Location:Alexandria, VA and Seaside, CA
Responsibilities:- Monitor DHRA cybersecurity posture using Government-mandated and Government-provided tools and support Tier 3 and shared Tier 2 responsibilities with Cybersecurity Service Providers.
- Confirm tool configuration, deployment, operability, connectivity, rollups, updates, and compliance with applicable DHRA, DoD, NIST, and DCDC requirements.
- Report failures, outages, and noncompliance; submit and track tickets and support troubleshooting as required.
- Review cyber-tool coverage against DHRA asset inventories and support development and monitoring of corrective get-well plans.
- Develop traceable monitoring metrics, recommend tool enhancements, document baseline changes, and maintain tool-monitoring TTPs.
- Apply LCAT expertise in security scanning, mitigation, compliance cross-checking, security-system troubleshooting, security engineering, and review of work products for technical correctness and standards compliance.
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's degree and five years of experience.
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- A Secret clearance is required when the assigned duties require classified information or SIPRNet access.
Compensation Range: - The anticipated salary range the Employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is $94,000 to $127,000 annually.
