Overview
Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity to join the Engineering Solutions team supporting the Test Operations and Sustainment contract at Arnold Engineering Development Complex at Arnold AFB, TN. This innovator will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for maintaining and sustaining the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary
The Engineering Solutions team is seeking a highly qualified Innovation Program Lead to manage strategic projects from concept to launch, coordinate cross-functional teams, drive adoption of new technologies, advocate for new solutions and connect commercial technology with military needs. Key duties include setting the vision to align innovation goals with objectives, guide teams through ideation, testing, and scaling.
Job Duties:
- Implement creative strategies which integrate innovative technologies into the work environment.
- Spot emerging market technologies, shifts and leads in the development of next generation technology.
- Observe standard processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate long-term innovation strategies to determine where changes are needed.
- Collaborate with local schools and colleges to facilitate innovation events.
- Present analysis results to senior leadership and customers as necessary.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within the specified budget.
- Potentially travel to meet with customers.
- Provide functional leadership to cross-disciplinary project teams.
- It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or 4 years of experience in test or R&D environment or an equivalent combination.
- 3 years of experience in 3D design and production of custom tools
- At least two years’ experience with CAM and CAD software and innovation software such as Autodesk Inventor.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network
- Due to Air Force Security requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of digital platform models, scalable service architectures, and new business models.
- Proven track record in complex, high-impact programs in innovation or transformation.
- Excellent leadership, structuring and stakeholder management capabilities in complex environments.
- Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance
