Job DescriptionThe Security Architecture Specialist 5 will play a pivotal role in safeguarding Oracle Health & Global Industries' healthcare operations as we navigate the dynamic landscape of healthcare technology. This senior IC security architecture leader will be responsible for providing strategic security guidance and expertise to protect our healthcare products, EHR hosting models, and AI-enabled services. With the healthcare industry rapidly evolving, this role is critical in ensuring the security and integrity of our high-trust healthcare environments.
Responsibilities- Lead security architecture initiatives for the healthcare line of business, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Provide deep security judgment and expertise in the provider space, offering strategic guidance on application architecture, migration controls, and systems/infrastructure operations.
- Own and drive AI/security initiatives, ensuring the secure integration of AI technologies into our healthcare solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and operations, to embed security practices and controls throughout the product lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats and trends in the healthcare industry, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, industry associations, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and industry alignment.
- Mentor and guide junior security architecture team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies, ensuring the resilience of our healthcare solutions.
- Collaborate with the wider security team to share best practices and ensure a unified security posture across Oracle's healthcare portfolio.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
