The Security Solutions Supervisor leads and supports integrated security engagement and intelligence workflows that protect UPS, its subsidiaries, and its customers. This role serves as a supervisory bridge between external law enforcement, government partners, internal intelligence, and security teams ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable information flows across all solution pathways.
This position supervises and actively contributes to analytical and engagement activities, including the receipt, evaluation, analysis, and dissemination of intelligence related to fraud/threat actors, and strategic security risks. The supervisor builds and maintains trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, supports enterprise responses to security directives, and ensures security intelligence products and engagement outcomes are relevant, actionable, and aligned with organizational priorities.
This position also supports engagement between UPS and law enforcement organizations by receiving, analyzing, and disseminating data and information. They will assist in the development and dissemination of UPS responses to security directives as well as develops and maintains appropriate internal and external contacts around the world. They develop communication agreements with law enforcement and government agencies. The Security Engagement Supervisor oversees specialists.
Key ResponsibilitiesEngagement & External Coordination- Serve as a primary supervisory contact supporting engagement with local, state, federal, and international law enforcement and government agencies.
- Develop, maintain, and manage communication and information-sharing agreements with external partners to ensure consistent, compliant, and professional engagement.
- Coordinate and support UPS responses to security directives, requests for information, and time-sensitive engagement needs.
- Support expedited fulfillment of subpoenas.
- Plan and attend UPS Security-sponsored law enforcement engagement events and track participation.
- Manage sensitive communications.
Intelligence Analysis & Risk Assessment- Supervise and conduct intelligence analysis related to fraud, threat activity, and strategic risks impacting UPS operations, assets, and customers.
- Identify emerging trends, threat actor tactics, and systemic vulnerabilities through structured analytical techniques and data analysis.
- Produce and communicate timely, actionable intelligence to support risk mitigation and operational decision-making.
- Ensure analytical products meet quality, relevance, and timeliness standards.
Supervisory & Team Leadership- Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and workload prioritization for analysts supporting engagement and intelligence workflows.
- Balance resources across engagement and intelligence demands to ensure continuity of service and responsiveness.
- Support training, professional development, and the consistent application of analytical and engagement standards.
- Collaborate with management to improve processes, workflows, and information-sharing practices.
Collaboration & Program Support- Build and maintain strong internal partnerships across Security, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Analytics teams.
- Support the development of standardized processes, reporting, and communication practices across engagement and intelligence functions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the evolution of security and intelligence capabilities.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Security Management, Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in intelligence analysis, security operations, investigations, fraud analysis, or law enforcement/government engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Prior experience leading, supervising, or coordinating analysts or operational teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including engagement with external agencies and senior stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and open source/social media platforms.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level.
- Knowledge of UPS operations.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working directly with law enforcement or government agencies.
- Familiarity with the intelligence lifecycle and structured analytical techniques.
- Experience operating in environments requiring discretion, compliance, and information-sharing governance.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across operational and analytical workflows.
