Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with Linux systems.
  • Familiar with using logging and SIEM tools, preferably AlertLogic.
  • Experience with Tripwire, Oracle Audit Vault, Tenable, and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Knowledge of Privilege Identity Management Systems like Centrify.
  • Experience with Imperva SecureSphere is a plus.
  • Excellent documentation and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to work standard hours (approximately 8 AM to 5 PM).

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze system logs for security events.
  • Implement and maintain security tools and processes.
  • Documentation of security policies and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with IT team to enhance system security.
  • Monitor systems for compliance with security standards.

  • Linux Background
  • Familiar with log review and Seim tools (AlertLogic preferred but not necessary).
  • Familiar with a variety of tools that currently used such as:
  • Tripwire
  • Oracle Audit Vault
  • Tenable
  • Palo Alto firewalls
  • Familiar with tools similar to what we may soon implement:
  • Centrify or some other Privilege Identity Management System
  • Imperva SecureSphere
  • Must have superior documentation and written communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work regular work hours (8 to 5) or so.
