Summary

The Security Analyst will provide support to the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in all areas of security administration and coordination of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), as well as promote adherence to the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117 (32 CFR Part 117), the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The Primary work location will be Arlington, TX. This position will require interface with external organizations such as customers, suppliers, law enforcement, and various government agency representatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct Employee briefings and debriefings.

  • Manage and initiate personnel clearances background investigations and process visit access requests (VARs) and mandatory SEAD 3 reporting via Defense Information System for Security (DISS).

  • Responsible for completing and submitting employee fingerprints via Defense Information System for Security (DISS).

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining Visit Requests via DISS.

  • Maintain Standard Practice Procedures in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117.

  • Process company and visitor badges visit requests, CAC applications, and certifications for Government facilities.

  • Update SIMS and other databases for clearance and visitor tracking.

  • Investigate incidents and security violations, conduct administrative inquiries (AI), and submit reports as required.

  • Provide security advice and assistance to CAE staff, Contractors, and our customers.

  • Assist in maintaining Open Storage Areas, enforcing classified area requirements, and ensuring compliance with Facility Clearance (FCL) Government regulations.

  • Preparing classified materials for external transmission via authorized shipping services or hand carry operations.

  • Maintain good working relationships with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers.

  • Conduct Initial and annual training, and foreign travel briefings/debriefings.

  • Accomplishes required internal security self-inspections and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)/Customer Security Assessments.

  • Other security duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related discipline or equivalent Industrial Security work experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117, and other applicable security regulations and requirements.

  • Experience implementing, administering, and complying with National Industrial Security Program (NISP)(NISPOM/32 CFR Part 117).

  • Excellent investigative and written & oral communication skills with internal and external entities.

  • Must have security related work experience supporting classified programs with the Department of Defense (DoD).

  • Must possess a current FINAL Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.

  • Familiarity with FOCI restrictions, mitigation agreements and operations under DCSA directed agreements (e.g., SSA, AOP, ECP, TCP., etc.) and assist with Export Control tasks to include development of TCPs.

  • Must be well organized, self-motivated, willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize tasking and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment.

  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with OPNAV 9210.3 and NN-801 rev. 5 security requirements.

  • Experience with LenelS2 and Security Information Management System (SIMS) software.

  • Proficiency in processing SF-86, SF-312, and Periodic Reinvestigations.

  • Strong working knowledge of DISS, NISS, and NBIS.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Security Responsibilities

Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must possess a current DoD Personal Security Clearance at the FINAL Secret level.

Work Environment

The office work environment will includethe following situations:

Sitting at a desk and operating office equipment including a laptop/computer, printer, and telephone.Entering manufacturing and production areas to perform miscellaneous security tasks.
