SECURITY ADMINISTRATION MANAGERPOSITION OVERVIEWThe Security Administration Manager (SAM) will research, interpret, analyze, and apply security guidelines from various sources for local applications in compliance with the DoD and AF instructions and regulations. The SAM will implement security plans and procedures for unit operations and training, as required by AFM 14-304, Directive, Control, Protection, and Dissemination of Sensitive Compartmented Information. This individual will be responsible for managing approximately 200 military/civilian security clearances and approximately 30 contractor security clearances.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prepare, manage, and maintain local security databases, rosters, and other tools necessary to administer the personnel security program as required by AFMAN 16-1405, Personnel Security Program Management. Execute reinvestigations and In/Out processing for all assigned personnel.
- Develop local tracking for security training and periodic reinvestigations, visit requests, alarm custodial lists, monthly compilation of security violations, and installation entry authority lists (IEALs) as required by AFMAN 16-1406, Industrial Security Program Management.
- Enforce standards and squadron policies for managing classified working papers and documents as required by DoD 5105.21 (Vol 1-3), DoD 5200.01 (Vol 1-4), and AFI 16-1404, Information Security Program Management.
- Develop, maintain, and present initial and continuation security training briefings to all assigned personnel.
- Maintain and regularly update all security program continuity binders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct required internal security Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) and facilitate external inspections IAW local guidance and regulations.
- Process, file, and store security investigation reports. Integrate lessons learned from security incidents into unit training programs.
- Coordinate the introduction and control of removable media with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
- Execute required inspections and operational tests for the Intrusion Detection System/Alternate Data Stream (IDS/ADS) for assigned 89th AKTS facilities. Ensure the system remains in a fully mission-capable state and coordinate maintenance actions with Base Security Forces.
- Process, generate, and file documentation for restricted area badges and classified access.
- Conduct and document all security out-briefings.
- Execute escort duties for uncleared personnel operating within secure environments when required to maintain facility operations.
- Program, update, and maintain security codes in IDS/ADS, cypher locks, and X-09 (or newer) locking devices IAW security directives.
- Maintain and audit SF-700s (Security Container Information), SF-701s (Activity Security Checklist), and SF-702s (Security Container Check sheet) for all secure areas outside the SCIF.
- Update the squadron Entry Authorization List (EAL) for all assigned facilities and ensure updated copies are delivered to the Base Defense Operation Center (BDOC) monthly or as changes occur.
- Oversee daily squadron security administrative processes, to include maintaining required task lists, monitoring the security clearance reinvestigation process, maintaining Security Information Files (SIF), and conducting in/out-processing of squadron personnel.
- Comply with all security requirements outlined in applicable directives and regulations while executing the requirements of this contract and providing deliverables. These governing regulations include, but are not limited to: DoD 5105.21 (Vol 1-3), DoD SCI Administrative Security

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a TS/SCI facility
- At least one (1) year of dedicated experience in security
- Technical Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and DOD/AF security databases.
