Position Description:

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Secure Space IT Support within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities.
The Secure Space IT Support focuses on providing technical assistance in environments requiring a high level of security, such as those handling classified or sensitive information, often involving physical security protocols, secure hardware, and strict adherence to cybersecurity practices to protect sensitive data and infrastructure. Key responsibilities include managing secure systems and assets, assisting with classified information handling, performing system audits, and responding to security incidents to maintain a secure environment.

This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Secure Asset & Inventory Management: Conduct inventories and manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets, especially those with security classifications.
• Secure System Support: Provide day-to-day support for systems that handle sensitive information, including secure telephones and encrypted devices.
• Auditing & Monitoring: Perform security audits and continuously monitor information systems to ensure compliance with security policies and identify vulnerabilities.
• Classified Information Handling: Assist in the secure transfer and management of classified materials and associated documentation.
• Physical Security Support: Implement and maintain security measures for secure areas, including administrative tasks related to access control and physical security protocols.
• Incident Response: Assist in responding to security anomalies and work with administrators to resolve issues and implement corrective actions to maintain system security.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, internal security databases, and prepare reports on security metrics, incidents, and system status.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and security tools.
• Security Expertise: Understanding of security classification levels, physical security requirements, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Attention to Detail: Critical for managing sensitive assets, performing audits, and maintaining accurate records.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical and security-related issues effectively.
• Communication Skills: Essential for presenting findings to management and providing support to users.
• Experience with Security Systems: Familiarity with secure communication equipment (COMSEC), encryption, and secure access protocols is often necessary.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,000.00 - $200000.00.
