Sector Transformation, Industrial Products - Supply Chain Technology, Senior Manager

The Opportunity

EY's Industrials & Energy practice helps Industrial Products clients transform supply chain operations through integrated business and technology solutions that improve service delivery, product flow, resilience, cost performance and enterprise value.

As a Senior Manager in Sector Transformation, you will lead technology-enabled supply chain programs for Industrial Products organizations. You will work with executive, operations, supply chain and technology leaders to design and deliver service and product delivery capabilities across planning, manufacturing, order management, logistics, fulfillment, aftermarket services and performance management.

This role combines Industrial Products sector knowledge, supply chain transformation, technology enablement, operations and service delivery leadership, client relationship management and business development.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you will:
  • Lead technology-enabled supply chain transformation programs for Industrial Products organizations
  • Advise executives on service and product delivery strategies, target operating models and technology roadmaps
  • Design and improve capabilities across planning, manufacturing, inventory, order management, logistics, fulfillment and aftermarket services
  • Translate business priorities into scalable process, data, technology and governance solutions
  • Lead solution design, implementation, deployment, adoption and performance improvement activities
  • Establish service levels, operational metrics and governance to improve reliability, visibility, cost and customer outcomes
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across supply chain, operations, technology, data and change management
  • Manage executive stakeholder relationships, engagement economics, delivery quality and risk
  • Lead pursuits, proposal development, solutioning and account growth activities
  • Coach and develop high-performing consulting teams

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Information Systems or a related field
  • Approximately 8+ years of consulting, industry, supply chain, operations or technology transformation experience
  • Experience leading large-scale supply chain technology or operations transformation programs
  • Experience serving Industrial Products, manufacturing or related Industrials & Energy organizations
  • Experience across service and product delivery processes such as planning, manufacturing, inventory, order management, logistics, fulfillment or aftermarket services
  • Experience defining business requirements, operating models, technology roadmaps, implementation plans and performance measures
  • Demonstrated experience managing executive-level client relationships and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proven experience supporting pursuits, proposals and business development activities
  • Willingness and ability to travel based on client and business requirements

Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree
  • Experience with ERP, supply chain planning, manufacturing, warehouse, transportation, order management, asset management or service management platforms
  • Experience with supply chain analytics, automation, digital operations, control towers or connected planning
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle, field service, aftermarket, spare parts or warranty operations
  • Experience with business process redesign, organizational change management, agile delivery or program governance
  • Relevant credentials such as APICS, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, Lean or Six Sigma

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $171,600 to $340,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $205,900 to $340,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
