Job Description:

Job Summary: The Sector/Site Security Manager (SSM) is responsible and accountable to define and implement the Sector/Site security plans for Airbus Helicopter, Inc. The Airbus SSM's primary role is oversight and direction of protection of the integrity, people, processes, and assets, including information, for all Airbus Helicopters operations to include logistics support locations. The SSM shall identify risks, assess vulnerabilities, and establish security plans and oversee the incorporation of mitigation policies and procedures in the implementation of controls to address the corporate exposure.

Based in Grand Prairie, TX the SSM will assess, analyze, and interpret the threat environment across the organization as it pertains to real and perceived external challenges to Airbus' Operations. Through detailed planning, the SSM will promote a threat to business and risk-aware culture through the development and implementation of efficient security and regulatory practices, while remaining consistent with Airbus culture and policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Initiate and Plan Programs: 40%

• Ensure compliance with State, Federal, Airport and Transportation Security Administration (Aviation and Transportation Safety Act - ATSA) legislation and regulatory requirements and with those directives specific to Airbus Americas.
• Maintain knowledge of TSA security programs to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Maintain knowledge of Department of Homeland Security airport security requirements to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Manage and develop security employees in the following functions: guarding, surveillance, reception, remote surveillance, security administration, office security services and monitoring activities (anti-intrusion, video, access control system etc.).
• Manages and oversees the security service provider which includes contracted external security staff of 20-30 employees to ensure compliance with all Airbus policies and local, federal, airport and TSA requirements.
• Oversight and control of all surveillance (audit) activities.
• Implement and communicate the Airbus security policies, directives and procedures issued, and direct the use of supporting Airbus Company Security tools.
• Centralize the security-related actions and events, cascading all pertinent information up to the Airbus Americas Security Manager and down to the contracted security team.
• Establish all relevant contracted security operating reports, including security contractor KPIs.
• Ensure the Airbus security awareness campaign is communicated in a way that addresses local needs.
• Oversight and management of preparation for the possibility of catastrophic events, or related significant security incidents.
• Ensure that all Airbus classified information and assets are safeguarded and handled in accordance with Airbus security directives.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the assets, industrial processes, logistics, and supply chain and oversee the participation of the management of key vendors/service providers involved in the process.
• Coordinate all activities with local contracted security services to enhance the overall security product by aligning contingency, protection and intervention plans.
• Ensure that security risks are managed and resulting processes are in place to sustain security risk management.
• Ensure security events are managed, reported, investigated, and assessed (impact and root causes), and that corrective and preventive actions are taken and recorded.
• Assist with emergency and contingency planning exercises through scheduled, completing and recording. In case of major events/disaster, lead the emergency and contingency first response operations.
• Conduct employee security awareness training such as Hostile Worker identification, Active Shooter, and emergency evacuation procedures.
• Position requires an extensive knowledge of security systems, local and federal laws as well as TSA, Department of Homeland Security and FAA regulations.

• Travel Security: 20%

• Raise awareness of travellers through effective training and education.
• Coordinate Airbus Helicopters travel security program and ensure employee awareness of high-risk avoidance areas.
• Ensure Airbus employees' wellbeing in the case of a security or natural disaster event while on company travel per Airbus travel security program.
• Ensure data quality on contact details on traveler's profile, travel security training and activation of assistance application.
• Proactively monitor local conditions and provide traveller updates as appropriate.
• Coordinate with management of security incidents involving travellers, record and report all travel security incidents.

• Oversee Program Governance: 25%

• Develop program scope, definition and approval.
• Set metrics and targets.
• Manage program definition and approval.
• Manage annual operating budget and execute mission within budget.
• Coordinate and consolidate the Crisis Management policy, directives and best practices with all Crisis Management Liaison Officers across all company sites.
• Manage compliance against Airbus Travel Security governance.

• Manage Program Teams & Stakeholders: 10%

• Identify Stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Collect and document stakeholder requirements.
• Work effectively with Airbus Americas Security Manager, Airbus Helicopters leadership and other stakeholders such as HR, Finance, IT, and Legal to address security requirements and concerns.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts.
• Communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, supervise, and recognize program team members.
• Maintain program support through interaction with senior leaders to ensure adequate resources for crisis management operations.
• Organize and run Crisis Management workshop: Disseminate /cascade information on program (changes, updates) to the liaison officers from all locations

• Execute, Monitor and Control: 5%

• Track program milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Manage training and exercise programs.
• Serve as the primary liaison with local law enforcement, with oversight of other locations in North America.
