The role also includes identifying staffing needs, improving workflows, implementing and ensuring the use of best practices in litigation matters, and facilitating after action reviews. In addition, the position will also assist the Section's leadership team, including the State and Federal Employment Litigation Program, in managing litigation matters through project management and the coordination of paralegal staffing.

This role works closely with paralegals through regular communication and collaboration to understand day-to-day workflows, identify challenges and inefficiencies, and support consistent practices. The position will play a key role in refining onboarding, enhancing training, and improving how paralegals are supported, while leading through influence rather than supervisory authority. The position will also serve as a resource for the case intake team and support coordination of case data collection, knowledge and document management procedures, and quality control for discovery, case information management conventions, collaboration with litigation support, trial preparation, and trial presentation.

This position also will identify and implement process improvements ensuring the Section's litigation practices meet or exceed industry standards.
