Full Job Description
The Seattle office of Fisher Phillips is seeking a mid-level associate with 4+ years of experience to join its Employment Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated management-side labor and employment practice representing employers throughout Washington and the Pacific Northwest.

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience defending employers in employment-related disputes, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour claims. Experience counseling employers on workplace policies, compliance, and day-to-day employment issues is a plus.

Successful candidates will have experience with:
  • Managing employment litigation matters through multiple stages of a case;
  • Drafting pleadings, written discovery, substantive and dispositive motions, and other litigation filings;
  • Preparing responses and position statements in administrative agency proceedings;
  • Conducting legal research and developing clear, persuasive written advocacy; and
  • Working strategically with colleagues and clients to evaluate risk and develop practical solutions.


Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple matters and competing deadlines while exercising sound judgment and attention to detail. The role requires the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative litigation team.

Pursuant to Washington regulation, the annual salary range for this position is $182,500+ and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, seniority, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
