Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication abilities and a team-oriented attitude.
• Familiarity with seat integration and automotive components.
• Knowledge of FMVSS and ECE safety requirements.
• Proficient in CAD software such as Teamcenter/NX.
• Experience in global project management and cross-functional team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate seat structures and components for vehicles.
• Manage the product release lifecycle, including BOMs and design revisions.
• Ensure seamless integration of seat systems into vehicle designs.
• Create DVPRs and support prototype and production builds.
• Analyze and troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues for resolution.
• Implement corrective actions for design and manufacturing problems.
• Collaborate with suppliers on seat part design, quality, and delivery.
• Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
• Ensure compliance with regulations on safety, comfort, and packaging.
• Drive initiatives for weight and cost reduction.
