Physician Assistant - Internal Medicine Madisonhealth | Seasons Adult & Family Medicine | Rexburg, Idaho
Madisonhealth is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join a busy outpatient internal medicine practice at Seasons Adult & Family Medicine in Rexburg, Idaho. This role is ideal for a PA interested in providing comprehensive adult primary care in a collaborative, team-based clinic environment.
This position will work directly alongside an Internal Medicine physician and will focus exclusively on outpatient care. There are no surgical, inpatient, or hospital rounding responsibilities associated with this role. The Physician Assistant will play an important role in expanding patient access, supporting continuity of care, and managing a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Position Highlights:- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult patients
- Evaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct routine follow-up visits, annual wellness visits, and preventive care
- Manage common chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and other complex medical needs
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and laboratory studies
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician and care team
- Provide patient education and support medication management
- Work closely with the physician and clinic staff to improve access, continuity, and patient experience
- No surgery, inpatient rounding, or hospital call responsibilities
Schedule:- Outpatient clinic schedule
- Monday through Friday
- No inpatient or surgical responsibilities
Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA certification
- Active or eligible for an unrestricted Idaho Physician Assistant license
- Experience in internal medicine, family medicine, primary care, or outpatient medicine preferred
- Strong knowledge of chronic disease management and preventive care
- Ability to manage a broad range of adult medical conditions independently while collaborating appropriately with the supervising physician
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and organizational ability
