Position Summary: Serves as a key leader within the Public Sector Management Consulting practice, supporting government, utility, K-12, and higher education clients throughout the Southeast region. This individual is responsible for leading complex ERP advisory, implementation oversight, IV&V, project management, organizational change management, and post-production optimization engagements.
The Manager collaborates with client executives, project teams, and firm leadership to deliver exceptional client service while supporting business development, practice growth, staff development, and operational excellence. This role will help expand the Southeast practice's capacity to support increasing client demand and growing market opportunities.
Client Delivery & Project Leadership
- Lead multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and project stakeholders.
- Provide oversight and guidance for ERP assessments, software selections, implementation oversight, IV&V, project management, and post-production support engagements.
- Facilitate executive steering committees, project governance meetings, and stakeholder workshops.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Review work products and ensure consistent delivery quality across engagement teams.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Support account growth through cross-serving and expansion opportunities.
- Identify emerging client needs and help develop solutions that provide long-term value.
- Contribute to client satisfaction and retention efforts across the Southeast region.
Practice Development
- Support proposal development, presentations, and pursuit activities.
- Participate in conferences, industry events, and networking activities.
- Assist with developing thought leadership, market strategies, and public sector go-to-market initiatives.
- Contribute to revenue growth and expansion of the firm's public sector presence.
Staff Development & Leadership
- Coach, mentor, and develop consultants and senior consultants.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and integration of new team members.
- Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a positive team culture.
- Assist with performance management, career development, and leadership development initiatives.
Practice Operations
- Support resource planning and engagement staffing efforts.
- Monitor project financial performance and utilization goals.
- Assist with practice operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and strategic planning activities.
- Contribute to succession planning and leadership development within the practice.
Qualifications- Bachelors' Degree in Business, Public Administration or related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of consulting, public sector, ERP, project management, technology transformation, or related experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading large, complex projects and client relationships.
- Experience working with state and local governments, utilities, K-12 school districts, or higher education institutions preferred.
- Experience with ERP modernization initiatives, including solutions such as Oracle, Workday, Tyler Technologies, , SAP, or related platforms preferred.
- Strong executive communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams.
- Position requires travel: willingness to travel as required to support client and business development activities.
This is an exempt position, so you will have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. Please review the position description for the applicable geographic location. Generally, experienced hires are not hired at or near the maximum salary range, as compensation decisions take into account a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to: responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. For early career roles, including campus hires, we offer standardized, market-based starting salaries among individuals within the same hiring group. The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $114,000.00 - $145,000.00
