The impact you will have in this role:

The SDET role specializes in development of capabilities and code to automate testing of the product or system under test. You will be part of a business-aligned development squad that specializes in building, enhancing and maintaining custom software and solutions supporting the business.

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET with strong Java programming expertise to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of Java, test automation frameworks, and modern testing practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, maintain, and implement test cases based on user stories; present results and supervise defects to closure.
  • Develop and maintain Java-based automation scripts for UI, API, and backend testing.
  • Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and best practices in automation code.
  • Perform API testing using Rest Assured and database validation using JDBC/JPA.
  • Track test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines.
  • Construct appropriate end-to-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered.
  • Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation.
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately.

Qualifications:
  • Proven min experience of 2-3 years with automated unit and integration testing.
