The opportunityAs an FSO Technical Program Manager, you'll be based in our Service Delivery Center, which is made up of high-performing US-based colleagues who work closely with our experienced advisory professionals. We deliver Technology project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you'll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of Technology solutions. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you'll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learning new and rapidly changing technology solutions.
We are looking for Technical Program Managers who will collaborate with clients to transform their business through disruptive innovation enablement and transformational design solutions. The team supports our clients in modernizing systems, processes and products to enhance business and customer-facing platforms and services to support high performance in a rapidly changing and competitive environment. The team leverages Microservices, Cloud, Omni channel integration, API Management and open source technologies to enable end to end automation.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesThe role supports clients in transforming business challenges through technology-enabled engineering solutions. You will work with engagement teams to analyze business requirements and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of technology programs or products from inception through completion.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, reliable solutions with a strong focus on customer experience. This role requires applying deep technical expertise and professional knowledge to guide delivery outcomes.
You will also lead the end-to-end execution of engineering work across delivery teams and dependent organizations, ensuring alignment, managing dependencies, and providing accurate and timely reporting on program progress.

- Plan and manage multiple related technology projects from initiation through successful delivery
- Apply strong knowledge of system design, architecture, and relevant technologies
- Prioritize customer experience, efficient delivery processes, and problem-solving outcomes
- Collaborate across multiple scrum teams, either across products/technologies or within a specific domain
- Align stakeholders and proactively mitigate or resolve dependencies and blockers
- Engage with external partners, including Mastercard technology teams, vendors, and clients
- Operate with minimal supervision, seeking guidance where necessary; delivery strategy is defined, but solution design requires input
- Develop a deep understanding of both business needs and technical requirements
- Account for the needs of engineering and operations teams responsible for long-term system maintenance
- Simplify complex technical designs by collaborating with engineers, architects, and technical program managers
- Support data-driven decision-making by evaluating trade-offs across business goals, platform strategy, customer experience, and maintainability
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues across multiple levels
- Produce required documentation to support delivery and governance
- Collaborate with vendors to align on architecture, implementation plans, and roadmap opportunities
- Provide clear and concise status updates to senior leadership, escalating risks and issues as needed
- Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and ensure proactive issue resolution
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing cross-team processes
- Monitor program metrics and enhance reporting mechanisms to maintain alignment with organizational objectives
Skills and attributes for success- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability
- Proven experience building and scaling cloud-native platforms with a strong understanding of underlying technologies
- Strong track record of delivering programs using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience breaking down complex problems, organizing work, and managing delivery across teams
- Interest in deep technical exploration of platforms, systems, and architectures
- Experience applying data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement practices
- Ability to effectively challenge and refine delivery strategies with business, engineering, and design stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage executives, peers, and technical teams
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across teams
- Preferred experience in Payments, cloud (IaaS/PaaS), serverless architectures, CI/CD, NoSQL databases, microservices APIs, and distributed systems in a DevOps environment
To qualify for the role you must have- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in technical program delivery, including hands-on software development and testing experience

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $80,300 to $155,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
