Scrum Master - DEWALT Construction Technology

The Job:

As a Scrum Master for the DEWALT Construction Technology team, you will facilitate Agile practices and coach a global team of software engineers and digital developers. You will help deliver innovative workflow management solutions for building construction component prefabrication, ensuring high-quality, cybersecure digital technologies that enhance customer advocacy for our DEWALT products.

You'll get to:
  • Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach Agile Practices: Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
  • Remove Impediments: Proactively identify and remove obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
  • Support Product Owner: Assist the Product Owner with backlog management, refinement, and prioritization.
  • Foster Collaboration: Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of learning and adaptation by helping the team reflect and improve their processes.
  • Ensure Quality Delivery: Help the team deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions in a cloud environment within pre-established release timelines.
  • Champion Agile Mindset: Advocate for Agile values and principles across the team and organization.

Qualifications
  • Experience 7+ years as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role, in software development environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
  • Experience on Tracking and reporting on sprint progress, team velocity, and performance metrics
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks like Jira is essential. Work as the administrator of the scrum board and ensure tickets stay updated in Jira
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and servant leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles, preventing the delivery team from over-committing and scope creep during sprint planning
  • Ability to Guide teams to deliver high-quality code and services through time-boxed iterations/sprints
  • Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to Promote Agile values of transparency, inspection, and adaptation
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS preferred) and secure software development practices is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong facilitation and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Deep understanding of Scrum artifacts, ceremonies, and roles

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar certification is highly desirable.

The Salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $144,900.00
