The candidate must be independent, goal oriented, technically competent, and able to work efficiently across multiple projects. We are searching for enthusiastic, innovative, and highly motivated individuals, with a scientific background in antibody-drug conjugates including the assembly, purification, and analysis of these molecules.

This position is onsite and will be primarily located in Cambridge, MA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical reactions to assemble antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates using various conjugation handles, linkers, and antibody formats (IgG, Fab, scFv, bispecific)
  • Utilize multiple strategies for stochastic and site-specific conjugation
  • Optimize reactions and purification methods to improve yields and efficiency ranging from mg to gram scale
  • Independently troubleshoot conjugation reactions for improved yields and processes
  • Analyze conjugates using all relevant techniques (IEX, HIC, SEC, SDS-PAGE, mass spec, UV-Vis)
  • Understanding of antibody design and cloning is nice to have
  • Understanding of antibody ligand/target validation using BLI and SPR for kinetic analysis is nice to have
  • Drive automation for high-throughput conjugation at various scales
  • Work closely with biology teams to plan studies and generate materials on time for multiple projects
  • Proper electronic notebook record keeping with high attention to detail
  • Communication of experimental plans and data to multiple cross-functional scientific teams
