Full Job Description
Empower students to communicate with confidence and achieve their fullest potential! Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support middle school students through comprehensive evaluations, individualized services, IEP development, and collaboration with educators and families in Tempe, AZ.

Position Overview
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, interpret results, and develop appropriate recommendations and reports for students, families, and educators.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), evaluate student outcomes, and provide speech-language services aligned with individual communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary evaluation teams to support students receiving special education services; serve as a case manager for designated students as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams, special education meetings, and professional development while maintaining accurate student records and required documentation.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Arizona Department of Health Services Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Valid Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist Certification
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience providing school-based or pediatric speech-language services, with the ability to assess student needs, develop and implement IEPs, and evaluate outcomes
