Full Job Description
School Psychologist to join the Tempe, AZ community for the [redacted] school year. Help ensure every elementary student has access to the specialized care and support they need to thrive!

Position Overview:
  • Assist in identifying appropriate interventions including those related to crisis, school-wide, regular classroom, special education classrooms, and individual students.
  • Provide consultation to district and school administration, individual staff members, parents, community and specific programs within the district.
  • Provide psychological evaluations and expertise to the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) process in determining eligibility and specific programming needs of students.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions addressing the mental health needs of individual students, groups of students, and the families of students of Tempe School District #3.
  • Provide training on selected topics, and to practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral students as specified.
  • Provide school and district-wide training.

Qualifications:
  • Hold a Master's degree (doctorate preferred)Possess Arizona School Psychologist Certification
  • Have Experience as a psychologist
  • Have Experience in individual and group counseling
  • Have Knowledge of Federal and State Exceptional Student Laws
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
