Position Overview

As School Director, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and operational oversight of the campus. This role leads day-to-day school operations while driving strategic planning, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will ensure the institution operates efficiently, effectively, and in full compliance with state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies aligned with the school's mission and goals
  • Oversee daily operations to meet benchmarks established by state, federal, and accrediting agencies
  • Compile, analyze, and communicate operational and performance data to assess school needs
  • Create and manage the school's budget, including revenue and expense controls
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas
  • Collaborate with Fedcap leadership on campus expansion planning
  • Lead recruitment efforts in partnership with Fedcap Human Resources and Talent Acquisition
  • Ensure all regulatory documentation, processes, and procedures are properly maintained
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and student-centered learning environment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Report to the Vice President and participate in scheduled leadership meetings
  • Ensure effective communication across faculty, staff, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Fedcap IT to maintain adequate technology infrastructure and user support
  • Oversee records management and compliance reporting per federal, state, and local requirements
  • Lead and motivate staff and faculty to achieve organizational goals aligned with the school's mission
  • Complete professional development training to remain current on regulations and standards
  • Drive the IAIP plan for the branch campus in collaboration with the Main Campus
  • Ensure the Dean of Education has appropriate resources to lead academic programs
  • Ensure no operational, staffing, or procedural changes are made without Vice President approval.

Compensation
  • $85,000 to $95,000

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (required)

Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in vocational or career training school administration
  • Demonstrated experience working with regulatory agencies, including state departments of education, accrediting bodies, and federal regulators
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial oversight

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of clock-hour career school models and applicable regulations
  • Understanding of educational best practices
  • Excellent organizational, project planning, and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and develop staff
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work with diverse staff and student populations
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
