Job Summary
The School Director (Tk-8) at The Mission Preparatory School is a champion for equity, a culturally responsive teacher, and an actively anti-racist/anti-bias leader. This position serves as the senior site administrator and chief school-based leader responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Mission Preparatory School's academic program, student culture expectations, accountability systems, family engagement, and staff performance.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the School Director leads the execution of the Executive Director-approved vision, strategic priorities, and annual organizational goals. The School Director is accountable for student achievement, staff
retention, policy implementation, state assessment administration, family satisfaction, and the day-to-day management of school operations.
The School Director serves as the primary administrative leader for families and students, overseeing the resolution of concerns, complaints, and escalations while ensuring a positive, responsive, and student-centered school experience.
As an Officer of Mission Preparatory School, the School Director collaborates closely with the Director of Operations & Human Capital and the Director of Wellness to ensure students, families, and staff receive coordinated support while
maintaining clear ownership of academics, accountability, staff performance, family engagement, and schoolwide execution.
