Scheduler/Cost Controller - Rochester, NY - ID#7086We are seeking a
Scheduler/Cost Controller to support our growing team in
Rochester, NY. In this role, you'll play a key part in driving project excellence, collaborating with industry leaders, and ensuring high-quality outcomes across complex initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities- Support project planning and control activities through scheduling, cost tracking, forecasting, and progress reporting for multiple projects and programs.
- Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules, including look-ahead planning, activity sequencing, and critical path tracking.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, commitments, and forecasts to help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc project reports, including cost analysis, variance reporting, trend analysis, and earned value management (EVM) updates.
- Assist with maintaining project control systems, databases, change management logs, and progress measurement documentation.
- Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to reconcile financial and performance data and support project decision-making.
- Analyze schedule and cost performance against project baselines and help identify risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support compliance with company policies, procedures, project controls standards, and reporting requirements.
- Provide guidance and coordination support related to scheduling and cost control processes, tools, and best practices.
- Assist with accounting and financial administration activities, including cost allocations, accruals, and journal entry support when required.
Qualifications / Requirements- Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Controlling and 4 years of experience in Construction Project Scheduling required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- CAPM or PMI-SP Certificate or equivalent
- SAP and Primavera experience required
- MS Project experience required
Salary Range for Role $100,000 to $120,000
