RSi is looking to fill a
Schedule Manager position to support our
Army customer on the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft program (FLRAA). The Schedule Manager is responsible for gathering data as well as establishing and maintaining a Project Master Schedule for an Army Aviation Acquisition Program utilizing Primavera.
Summary of duties include but are not limited to:- Coordinate and align inputs from participating groups and obtain monthly progress updates for consolidation into the master schedules
- Analyze and assess schedules to ensure proper structure, complete network logic, are capable of reporting critical paths, and adherence to industry best practices
- Perform schedule trend analysis, including baseline vs current, margin assessment, cost/schedule risk assessments, duration compression, and overall health checks
- Track schedule progress and develop custom reports, metrics, and performance assessments
- Identify and report critical paths, critical activities, and their impacts
- Provide guidance on schedule work-arounds, recovery plans, "what if" scenarios, and decision support
- Integrate cost and schedule to ensure realistic and achievable budget and resource requirements
- Assess impacts of cost, schedule, or technical baseline changes
- Update project status, variances, and required actions at specified intervals
- Obtain updates from participating groups monthly progress updates to schedule activities and consolidate into the project master schedule
- Report the project status to the Stakeholders and develop "what if" scenarios and recovery plans as needed
- Maintain and operate the change control process and participate in change control process/boards
- Participate in change control boards and other meetings as required to ensure proper resource planning and forecasting
- Support Risk Management and oversee schedule-related mitigation and avoidance actions
- Participate in the Risk Management process and manage schedule related mitigation and avoidance actions
- Conduct Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting, monitoring, and preparation of Estimates at Completion (EACs)
- Analyze performance data and prepare written and verbal management reports on cost and schedule variances
- Conduct weekly IMS reviews
- Analyze performance data and prepare Estimates at Completion (EACs)
- Prepare written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances
- Support the annual PPBE process and provide expert guidance on integrated scheduling tools
- Report project status to stakeholders and validate that remedial actions meet customer requirements
Required Minimum Education/Experience/Certifications: - Must be fully trained/experienced in Primavera as a scheduling tool
- 8 years of experience in developing and executing Master Schedules for acquisition programs
- Must be experienced in EVM and establishing EACs
- Experience in managing life cycle support strategies and the required acquisition documentation
- Knowledge and experience managing, planning, and executing complex projects
- Ability to support complex acquisition development projects
- Work effectively with others and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Teamwork focused on conducting studies, logistics and technical projects, or problem resolution
- Strong interpersonal relation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Expert level of familiarity with Microsoft Office products

Physical Environment/Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): - Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

Other:- Must meet eligibility for a Public Trust background investigation for government issues credentials and IT access/applicants must be able to pass a security background check per Redstone Arsenal/MSFC requirements.
