SCADA Manager (Findlay, OH)

Summary

Marathon Pipe Line LLC has an opportunity for the SCADA Manager located in Findlay, OH. The SCADA Manager leads a team of (10) employees supporting SCADA processes and OT Infrastructure for MPL assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversees the maintenance and upgrade of the SCADA system, including implementing improvements and troubleshooting issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Provides management and oversight of SCADA projects involving, but not limited to, addition of new pipeline assets, additional automation and controls, power optimization, OT Architecture modifications, OT hardware refreshes and migration of SCADA platforms.
  • Administers the SCADA controls and OT infrastructure, encompassing communications and networking components, to guarantee efficient and secure operations.
  • Enforces compliance with relevant IT, regulatory, and industry standards by conducting regular audits and implementing necessary adjustments to meet all requirements.
  • Coordinates as the IT liaison for system maintenance, facilitating smooth integration of new patches and updates to maintain system stability, integrity and cybersecurity.
  • Cultivates the technical skills of the team by providing training and guidance to enhance their ability to perform system maintenance and automation tasks effectively.
  • Fosters and manages relationships with software vendors who support SCADA and communications systems, ensuring high-quality service and timely resolution of issues.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in IT or engineering-related field preferred.
  • Five (5) years of pipeline engineering, pipeline experience or software application management required.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
