Full Job Description
As a SCADA Engineer at Arrow Speed Controls, the position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our industrial partners. The position works closely with other engineers and stakeholders to optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

What you will be doing:

  • Design, configure, and implement SCADA systems and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and procedures.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA systems with other control and monitoring systems.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and technical staff.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA system issues, including network, software, and hardware problems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.


What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
  • Professional Engineer designation (PEng) in good standing.
  • 3-5 Years proven experience as a SCADA Engineer or similar role in an industrial or utility environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA systems (e.g., Iconics, Wonderware, Siemens, Ignition) and related technologies.
  • Experience with PLCs, HMI systems, and network protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC).
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, VBA).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in SCADA systems or related technologies.
  • Experience with cybersecurity practices related to industrial control systems.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools.
