Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking a SBIRS Training Support Specialist to provide full-time onsite support at Buckley Space Force Base (SFB). This position will be classified as non-exempt under applicable wage and hour laws.

What You'll Be Doing:- Provide full-time onsite support at Buckley Space Force Base (SFB).
- Assist project teams on the design, development, and fielding of training systems for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
- Provide knowledge of designated DoD Joint operations, space operations, orbital mechanics, and insight into training needs.
- Work closely with the software team throughout the simulation development process to provide detailed subject matter knowledge on the operations of designated systems.
- Draft/review documentation to support the training system development effort.
- Develop training system scenarios supporting Qualification Training through Advanced Training events.
- Provide familiarization training to the instructor cadre on the capabilities of the training system.
- Assist in the planning, script development, and observation of crew training events such as Combat Readiness Verifications (CRV).
- Perform on-site demonstrations of the training system and associated training scenarios.
- Perform hardware and software troubleshooting on the training system.
- Process and track Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) account requests for users to include the Standard Space Trainer (SST).
- Perform user account administration functions and create/modify/delete user accounts for the SST.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled server/client software maintenance (i.e. A/V and security update installations).
- Assist in SST-specific software installation processes for Architecture and Mission-Specific Vendor Plugin (MSVP) releases.
- Develop instructional courseware to educate users on new and existing SST capabilities and functionality.
- Support MSVP installation checkout verifications and augment Sonalysts test teams for formal software testing events.
- Work with USSF agencies and third-party SBIRS developers to gather and track Government-Furnished Information (GFI) and Contractor-Furnished Information (CFI) requests.
- Collect and track training system feedback from users on functionality observations and enhancement requests.
- Augment customer Large Force Exercise events to include event planning and execution activities.

- Salary range: $85,000-$115,000, dependent on additional/preferred qualifications, experience, and other relevant business criteria. There are no bonuses, commissions or other compensation unique to this job.

Required Qualifications:- Must be a U.S. citizen, possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI security clearance*
- Minimum of 2 years of Department of Defense space operations experience.
- Experience with Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS), specifically with SBIRS Ground Control or Telemetry, Tracking, and Commanding (TT&C) mission areas.
Desired experience/qualifications include the following:- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Experience with other space systems.
- Experience in multiple SBIRS areas (MMO, Mission Crew Chief/Commander, MPO, GSO or TT&C).
- Experience with Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Mission Data Processor Application Provider (MDPAP) system capabilities and functions.
- Instructor or curriculum developer in the area of space operations.
- Experience with the Standard Space Trainer (SST).
- Possess or the ability to obtain within six months of employment start DoD 8140 Intermediate-level Certification.
