SUMMARY:The SBA Relationship Manager II combines proactive business development with disciplined credit risk management and is dedicated to identifying, structuring, and executing SBA lending solutions for potential and existing customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Originate SBA 7(a) loans consistent with personal volume targets of $12M-20M+ annually
- Develop and manage a pipeline of small business borrowers across the Southeast through referral networks, COI relationships, brokers, and direct outreach
- Structure and present credit requests in compliance with SBA SOP guidelines
- Manage the full borrower relationship from prospecting through closing and portfolio management
- Partner with underwriters and closers to drive efficient loan execution
- Monitor and manage an active loan portfolio, maintaining asset quality and proactive borrower communication
- Ensure all originations meet SBA program requirements and internal credit standards
- Support special assets and workout situations as needed in collaboration with credit administration
JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent in education and experience
- Prior SBA 7(a) lending experience in a front-office production capacity
- Prior experience working within a dedicated SBA lending division
- Established referral network and COI relationships in the Southeast market

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:- Standing, walking, bending and stooping required
- Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer
- Must be able to occasionally move or lift up to 10 pounds
- May be asked to work supplemental hours periodically
- Limited travel required occasionally during and after business hours
