Full Job Description
SBA Loan Administration Manager
The Small Business Administration (SBA) Loan Administration Manager plans, directs, administers, and manages day-to-day activities and functions of the SBA Lending department from loan application evaluation and loan approval to closing, ensuring that all closing requirements are satisfied and guaranty is secure. While supervising a team of Loan Administrators, this job identifies and resolves issues related to the processing and management of loan applications and ensures compliance with bank and state policies, laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Leads the activities of an administration team to ensure loans are closed efficiently and timely to meet the Bank's objectives.
  • Oversees the submission and coordination of SBA loan submissions, including application input through E-tran or other means.
  • Ensures compliance to all banking regulations as well as the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the U.S. Small Business Administration to ensure the viability of the guaranty for the bank.
  • Establishes, maintains, trains, and implements written procedures and guidelines for administration team.
  • Acts as primary contact liaison with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
  • Audits all loan packages to ensure that SBA terms and conditions are fully met in accordance with the SBA Standard Operating Procedures Manual (SOP)
  • Assists with audits and other regulatory reviews including the ability to lead on SBA Performance, Asset Management, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, and Special Items (PARRiS) reviews.
  • Collaborates with other business units; show proactive support of effective communication between SBA Loan Administration and other support groups throughout the Bank.
  • Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of high quality commercial operations projects and engagement, motivation, and development of team.
