Full Job Description
In This Role

You will serve as an IT Project Manager supporting supply chain digitization initiatives for a large-scale enterprise technology environment. This role will focus on managing SAP-related programs and system enhancements across procurement, logistics, integration, reporting, and operational workflows.

You will partner closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, developers, data teams, and external vendors to deliver technology solutions that improve procurement visibility, supplier collaboration, inventory tracking, shipment transparency, and end-to-end supply chain execution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating at both the strategic and tactical levels, including roadmap planning, requirements gathering, defect management, integration testing, UAT coordination, risk tracking, stakeholder communication, and executive-level reporting.

This is a highly cross-functional role suited for someone who can translate business needs into technology delivery plans, manage competing priorities, and keep complex, integration-heavy programs moving from requirements through go-live and hypercare.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of SAP-related technology projects, including project planning, scope management, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Lead daily or recurring project meetings with functional analysts, developers, data teams, business stakeholders, and vendor partners to align priorities and remove blockers.
  • Triage system, interface, and integration issues across supply chain digitization platforms, including ERP, procurement tools, reporting dashboards, and middleware.
  • Partner with procurement, logistics, supply chain, and operations stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Support digitization initiatives such as purchase order tracking, shipment visibility, inventory dashboards, vendor portals, exception alerts, and automation capabilities.
  • Maintain project governance artifacts, including project plans, RAID logs, sprint plans, status reports, steering committee updates, action-item trackers, and decision logs.
  • Coordinate with technical teams on system builds, API testing, integration testing, data validation, and defect resolution.
  • Define and manage test plans to ensure solutions are ready for User Acceptance Testing.
  • Facilitate UAT activities, including test planning, defect tracking, issue prioritization, business sign-off, and readiness reporting.
  • Develop rollout plans, cutover procedures, release plans, and post-go-live support processes.
  • Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses, project updates, risk summaries, and recommendations to project sponsors and leadership.
  • Ensure appropriate systems development lifecycle and project management processes are followed.
  • Track project performance against milestones, SLAs, budget, scope, and overall business outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of new tools, workflows, dashboards, and process improvements across business user groups.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
  • 5-7+ years of project management or technical program management experience.
  • 5+ years managing SAP-related technology programs, including full implementations, major enhancements, or integration-heavy delivery efforts.
  • 3-5+ years of experience working with SAP Ariba modules, such as supplier onboarding, sourcing, contracts, procurement workflows, or supplier collaboration.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly procurement, materials management, logistics, or related supply chain modules.
  • Experience managing projects involving middleware, APIs, IDocs, CIG, PI/PO, or other integration technologies.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory, vendor management, and PO-to-delivery processes.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-team programs using Agile, hybrid, or traditional project delivery methods.
  • Strong experience with roadmap planning, sprint planning, RAID log ownership, defect tracking, UAT coordination, and executive status reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, assess project risk, and drive issue resolution across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors, suppliers, implementation partners, or OEMs.
  • Strong documentation, presentation, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • PMP, PMI, or equivalent project management certification preferred or required based on client expectations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, advanced technical degree, or advanced business degree.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or similar project/program management certification.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba SCC, Sourcing, Contracts, or supplier collaboration capabilities.
  • Experience with SAP EPPM or enterprise portfolio/project management platforms.
  • Experience delivering technology solutions in large-scale, multi-platform enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting supply chain digitization, procurement transformation, logistics automation, or enterprise ERP modernization initiatives.
  • Experience managing programs that connect digital systems with physical operations, such as inventory movement, capital equipment tracking, construction supply chains, infrastructure delivery, or large-scale operational buildouts.
  • Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, IoT-enabled tracking, data pipelines, predictive lead-time models, or exception-alerting capabilities.
  • Experience leading go-live readiness, cutover planning, hypercare, adoption tracking, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into business impact and communicate risks clearly to leadership.
  • Strong vendor management experience, including tracking third-party deliverables, resolving dependencies, and escalating risks appropriately.
  • Background in procurement, logistics, infrastructure, construction, capital equipment, or complex supply chain environments is highly preferred.
