Full Job Description
We are seeking an SAP S/4HANA Functional Supply Chain IT Advisor to play a key hands-on role in designing, configuring, and supporting end-to-end business processes across OxyChem Supply Chain. This role is a key contributor to our digital transformation strategy, supporting SAP S/4HANA.

SAP S/4HANA serves as the core platform for OxyChem Supply Chain business processes, integrated with SAP Ariba, Finance, Logistics, and external customer and supplier systems. This position is well-suited for an SAP functional professional who is comfortable owning complex business processes end-to-end while collaborating closely with commercial, procurement, finance, supply chain, and IT teams.

Essential Job Functions

  • Serve as a functional expert responsible for solution design, configuration, testing, and production support.


  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and optimize customer-facing processes.


  • Ensure alignment processes with Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain operations.


  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer service, automation, and operational efficiency.


  • Support end-to-end procurement transformation initiatives leveraging SAP S/4HANA and SAP Service and Asset Management Development.


  • Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, controls, and audit requirements.


  • Design and support SAP Ariba solutions.


  • Support supplier onboarding and enablement activities.


  • Collaborate with procurement stakeholders to optimize supplier collaboration processes.


SAP Integration

  • Collaborate with SAP technical and integration teams to support integration between:


  • SAP Service and Asset Management.


  • Customer and supplier systems.


  • Third-party applications.


  • Ensure solution scalability, reliability, and data integrity across integrated systems.


Data & Analytics

  • Support business reporting and analytics across Supply Chain processes.


  • Partner with analytics and reporting teams to ensure accurate and reliable business data.


  • Support KPI development and dashboard initiatives.


Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Support SAP S/4 Hana solution and connected applications for Supply Chain.


  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex business process issues.


  • Implement process improvements and automation opportunities.


  • Maintain operational documentation, business process flows, and functional specifications.


  • Identify system optimization opportunities and technical debt reduction initiatives.


  • Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, and SAP transformation projects.


Collaboration & Innovation

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and IT teams to deliver business value.


  • Collaborate with SAP functional teams including SD, MM, FI/CO, TM, and Integration teams.


  • Evaluate and adopt new SAP S/4HANA and additional capabilities.


  • Drive innovation in customer and supplier engagement processes.


  • Promote best practices and governance across Supply Chain business functions.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.


  • 15+ years of experience in SAP functional consulting, implementation, and support.


  • Hands-on experience with SAP Supply Chain solutions. Experience with SAP Material Management.


  • 15+ years experience as liaison between business leaders and IT, developing and fostering business relationships.


  • Experience working closely with onshore and offshore support and development teams


  • Experience implementing and supporting SAP ancillary solutions.


  • Strong understanding of:


  • Supply Chain processes including material management.


  • Financial integration with FI/CO.


  • Development Capabilities for SAP Asset Management.


  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and support.


  • Experience supporting integrations through APIs, IDocs, EDI, and middleware platforms.


  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business process integration across OTC, STP, Finance, and Supply Chain.


Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA certification in Sales, Procurement, or related disciplines.


  • Experience with SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics.


  • Knowledge of asset management, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain integration processes.


  • Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, energy, or industrial sectors.


  • Exposure to AI-driven procurement and intelligent automation solutions within SAP.
