Full Job Description
The Work:

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS-U Billing & Rates Team Lead with strong expertise in Utilities business processes and SAP IS-U solution design/configuration.

SAP IS-U Billing & Rates:
  • Perform hands-on configuration and support for SAP IS-U Billing and Rates.
  • Configure and maintain:
    • Rate categories and rate determination
    • Operands and schemas
    • Billing master data
    • Billing variants and invoicing processes
  • Support complex billing scenarios and tariff changes.
  • Analyze and resolve billing exceptions, invoicing issues, and rate-related defects.
  • Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, and defect resolution.


Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of SAP IS-U consultants and analysts.
  • Review deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.
  • Support knowledge transfer and capability development within the team.


Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with business users, product owners, and project stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Conduct workshops and provide functional recommendations aligned with utility business processes.
  • Communicate status updates, risks, and dependencies effectively.


Support & Delivery:
  • Support SIT, UAT, go-live, and HyperCare activities.
  • Participate in production support and incident management.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance and delivery standards.


Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirement.

Here's what you need:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience supporting the Utilities Industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP IS-U Billing and Rates Configuration including but not limited to:
    • Strong functional knowledge of:
      • SAP IS-U Billing
      • Invoicing
      • Rate configuration
    • Experience with:
      • Operand configuration
      • Schema setup
      • Rate determination
      • Billing master data
  • Minimum of 2 years proficiency with utility business processes
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in an implementation, rollout and/AMS support project


Bonus points if:
  • You have knowledge of SAP FICA, Device Management, or EDM integration.
  • You have experience in Agile delivery model.
  • You have exposure to S/4HANA Utilities programs is a plus.
  • You have a SAP IS-U certification


Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
