Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced and highly analytical
SAP FI/CO Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our global finance and controlling systems. In this role, you will define the architectural roadmap, design robust financial templates, and ensure our SAP landscape aligns perfectly with corporate accounting standards and business processes.
The ideal candidate has a deep functional understanding of core SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, hands-on experience with S/4HANA transitions (specifically the Universal Journal/ACDOCA architecture), and the ability to bridge complex business requirements with SAP best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesArchitectural Leadership & Template Design- SolutionArchitecture: Architect, design, and implement global templates forSAP FI/CO solutions, ensuring high system performance, scalability, andadherence to "Clean Core" standards.
- ProcessBlueprinting: Lead business workshops and fit-to-standard analysis totranslate complex accounting, reporting, and operational tax requirementsinto functional designs.
- SystemRoadmap: Define the roadmap for moving legacy systems (ECC) to S/4HANAor implementing new S/4HANA Finance functionalities.
Core Module Configuration & Integration- SAPFI (Financials): Deep hands-on configuration of General Ledger (GL),Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA),Bank Ledger/New Cash Management, and Taxes.
- SAPCO (Controlling): Expert configuration of Cost Center Accounting(CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), ProductCosting (CO-PC), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA / Margin Analysis).
- Cross-ModuleIntegration: Architect seamless touchpoints between FI/CO andlogistics modules (MM, SD, PP) to ensure accurate automatic accountassignment and data consistency.
Governance, Reporting, & Advisory- TechnicalGovernance: Oversee custom developments (RICEFW), ensuring thatfunctional specifications, ABAP reviews, and system configurations areexecuted to high standards.
- FinancialReporting: Design real-time analytical queries and dashboards usingFiori apps, CDS views, and standard SAP reporting tools.
- StakeholderManagement: Act as a trusted adviser to the CFO, group controller, andlocal finance teams, clarifying how SAP architecture supports criticalclosing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Experience: 5+ years of SAP FI/CO implementation experience, with at least one fulllifecycle implementation or major upgrade on SAP S/4HANA.
- SystemKnowledge: Advanced expertise in S/4HANA Finance, including theCentral Finance concept, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and Parallel Ledgersolutions.
- FinancialFoundations: Solid comprehension of general ledger accounting,profit/cost allocation models, multi-currency valuation, corporate taxrequirements, and international standards (IFRS / US GAAP).
- AnalyticalMindset: Excellent ability to analyze end-to-end business workflowsand debug configuration/integration bottlenecks in hybrid landscapes.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to deliver technicalarchitecture concepts clearly to business and executive audiences.
Preferred/Nice-to-Have Skills- Experienceintegrating SAP FI/CO with enterprise reporting platforms like SAPAnalytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP Group Reporting.
- Basicunderstanding of ABAP debugging and standard SAP API/OData integrations.
Relevant SAP FI/CO certifications on S/4HANA.
