The SAP Extended Warehouse Management Manager is expected to perform high-quality project work for our customers, build the Connected Logistics capability in North America, and foster its continued growth within our Service Unit. This role requires a focused and analytical mindset and will require you to work toward set objectives with a level of autonomy, live a culture of accountability, and take a hands-on approach to execution. Our customers and the value we offer is central to everything we do. This person will be required to ensure the quality of our services for our existing client base, cultivate relationships with new customers, and support new business opportunities.
Responsibilities - Conduct assessments (DISCOVER Phase) as well as lead the design (EXPLORE Phase) for challenging projects in management-, process- and IT-consulting with focus on SAP EWM and its integration into SAP TM and SAP Procurement, Sales and Production Solutions.
- Develop innovative concepts and implement sophisticated consulting solutions in the field of Supply Chain Management
- Configure the EWM solution and/or work with Nearshore EWM resources during the Implementation
- Define detailed blueprint for development requirements
- Deploy process, quality, and cost-optimized logistics concepts
- Create long term relationships with clients
- Identify and lead business development opportunities as well as support larger opportunities with Q&A, effort estimations and offer document creation
- Achieve strong reputation as a business advisor
Qualifications Qualifications QualificationsEducation::
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent education.
Experience:
- 6+ years of work experience in EWM consulting
- 10+ years of SAP WM/EWM (Extended / Warehouse Management) Experience (Process & Customizing)
- 3+ full SAP lifecycle implementations
- Profound SAP project and Go-Live experience (SAP implementation approach)
- Current SAP Certifications are a plus
- Fluency in English (multi-lingual preferred)
- Professional appearance with strong customer focus
- Analytical and structured working attitude
Percentage of required travel: up to 100%
Physical requirements:
- This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.
