One of the first notes from the hiring manager: "We are currently looking for a consultant with a strong BW background who also specializes in SAP Datasphere (BDC) and SAC.
In particular, we are seeking candidates who have hands-on experience delivering full Datasphere implementation projects (not just POCs). While other candidates have solid BW backgrounds, it appears they do not have end-to-end Datasphere project experience.
Additionally, this role requires the consultant to work onsite at the NYC office four days per week."
Recent hiring manager notes:- The key gaps were around hands-onSAP Datasphere (BDC) experience, particularly in end-to-end solutioning(data modeling, integration, semantic layers), as well as limited exposureto BW-to-Datasphere migration and working within a hybrid (BW +Datasphere) architecture. From an SAC perspective, we're also looking forstronger capability in building complex, performance-optimized storiesusing both BW live and Datasphere models.
- Given we are still in the earlyphase of our BDC rollout, this role requires a balance of strong technicaldepth and the ability to collaborate, influence and drive best practicesacross teams.
