Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven leader to oversee enterprise software procurement, vendor strategy, and commercial optimization across a global technology environment. This role drives sourcing strategies, supplier governance, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and cross-functional alignment, supporting large-scale technology and AI transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in enterprise software licensing, SaaS and cloud commercial models, vendor management, procurement operations, and strategic sourcing in fast-paced organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
Lead enterprise sourcing initiatives across software, SaaS, cloud, AI, and technology services. Define and execute vendor strategies aligned with business, engineering, security, legal, and finance goals. Manage RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing models, and long-term fit.

Vendor Management & Governance
Build and manage strategic relationships with global vendors. Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics. Ensure supplier accountability, operational excellence, and risk mitigation. Lead escalations and executive negotiations.

Commercial Negotiations
Negotiate complex enterprise agreements including SaaS, cloud, AI platforms, renewals, professional services, and consumption models. Optimize pricing, terms, and renewals while mitigating legal and financial risks in partnership with internal teams.

Financial & Operational Optimization
Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation and efficiency initiatives. Analyze software spend, usage trends, and licensing optimization. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for technology investments.

Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Security, Legal, Finance, and leadership teams. Support transformation initiatives in AI, cloud, and infrastructure. Influence stakeholders using data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

Risk, Compliance & Controls
Ensure vendor compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Support procurement governance, audits, and risk assessments, including business continuity planning.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Technology, or related field
• 10+ years in software procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and commercial negotiations
• Experience with enterprise software vendors in large-scale environments
• Strong knowledge of SaaS licensing, cloud models, and procurement operations

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $73,150 - $174,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
