What is the opportunity?

The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for managing the platform health, maintenance, best practices and enhancements to Salesforce platform for Advisors, Associates and other Business Groups (including C&C firms using Nexus) in terms of org configuration, analytics, and support for RBC US Wealth headquartered in Minneapolis, MN. As Salesforce is a critical application for RBC US Wealth Management, the purpose of this role is to help drive the roadmap of Salesforce so that our advisors can continue to efficiently manage their Client relationships. Reporting to the Director of WealthX, this role is accountable for being a key contributing member of the RBC US Wealth management Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE). This role acts as the solution architect across our Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Experience Cloud implementations which are all Lightning orgs and we are driving the cutting edge of Salesforce innovation.

What will you do?

  • Lead Advisor Desktop roadmap/enhancements by developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals
  • Lead application design sessions while consulting with all company stake-holders on new requirements and optimization of existing capabilities on the Salesforce platform
  • Lead collaboration with the IT Team on the implementation of change management best practices
  • Lead and communicate operational procedures and best practices with useful documentation and on-boarding for new and existing users
  • Proactively identify and convey timely Salesforce-related information to our employees
  • Effectively lead communicates and builds rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close. Resolves conflicts/issues of medium complexity and escalates others as appropriate
  • Actively participate in weekly project status meetings and ensure assigned tasks are completed on time to support project deliverables


What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • 4-5+ years Salesforce Admin experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, General Business or Economics or Finance or Accounting or Mathematics
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
  • A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Minimum Salesforce Certifications - Salesforce Certified Admin, Salesforce System Architect, Salesforce Application Architect (ALL required)
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud & Einstein
  • Experience with different deployment techniques as change sets, ants and Jenkins
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce Automation tools as Process Builder, Visual Flows, Approval Processes


Nice-to-have:
  • Experience working with different Business groups to understand their current processes and recommend designs/architecture using the Salesforce platform to help improve efficiencies
  • Collaborated with other team members and developers to build a scalable solution using Salesforce

The expected salary range for this particular position is $90,000-$160,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
