Candidates should demonstrate substantial experience designing complex Salesforce ecosystems, leading technical teams, and governing integrations across multiple enterprise platforms.

Must Haves

  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, integration patterns, data architecture, security, scalability, and performance.
  • Demonstrated experience translating business and functional requirements into scalable Salesforce solution designs.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce APIs, including REST, SOAP, and Bulk API, along with enterprise integration concepts.
  • Experience providing technical leadership, architecture governance, code reviews, and mentorship to Salesforce development teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

What the Client Needs You to Do

You will provide architectural direction across the full Salesforce implementation lifecycle, ensuring that business objectives are supported by reliable, maintainable, and secure technology solutions. You will work closely with internal technical and functional teams, external implementation partners, and enterprise stakeholders to establish consistent architecture across Salesforce, integration platforms, and connected systems.

The successful candidate will identify technical risks, evaluate solution alternatives, promote Salesforce best practices, and ensure that implementation decisions support long-term scalability and operational success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive Salesforce solution architectures and technical designs.
  • Evaluate solution alternatives, communicate architectural trade-offs, and facilitate informed technology decisions.
  • Govern the end-to-end architecture across Salesforce, integration platforms, and connected enterprise applications.
  • Review system designs, data flows, interfaces, and component interactions to ensure consistency across implementation workstreams.
  • Guide integration and data architecture, including synchronization, master data management, data quality, and cross-platform dependencies.
  • Advise development teams on Salesforce APIs, integration patterns, custom development, configuration, performance, and security.
  • Establish architectural standards and review technical deliverables for compliance with enterprise governance requirements.
  • Lead and mentor Salesforce developers while conducting code reviews and promoting high-quality engineering practices.
  • Provide architectural oversight throughout design, development, testing, change management, deployment, and production support.
  • Monitor Salesforce product releases and technology roadmaps, assessing opportunities, risks, and potential impacts to the solution.
  • Analyze existing configurations, custom code, and integrations to identify gaps and recommend optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate across technical and functional workstreams to maintain cohesive delivery and prevent isolated architectural decisions.
