Perficient is hiring a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join our Salesforce Support Team. We are seeking a meticulous, proactive, and strong communicator who can support the ongoing health and optimization of our Salesforce ecosystem. This team is composed of onshore, near-shore, and offshore resources working collaboratively to deliver high-quality support and enhancements.
This role requires close partnership with both technical teams and business stakeholders and will be based in Irvine, California, with an expectation to be onsite five days per week.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution across our enterprise applications, specifically within our Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will gather requirements, design streamlined processes, and collaborate with global , cross-functional technical teams to deliver seamless user experiences for both internal employees and external stakeholders.
• Requirements & Documentation: Elicit, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and functional specifications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to support implementation, sprint planning, and end-to-end delivery.
• Release Management Support: Perform testing of tickets when initially deployed to the UAT environment prior to the business user acceptance testing and post-release validation during scheduled evening release windows, and write release notes summarizing key features and bug fixes.
• Process Mapping: Map current-state and future-state business processes using visual diagramming tools to identify efficiency gains and operational bottlenecks.
• Production Support: Review ServiceNow Queue and action tickets in accordance with service level agreements.
Qualifications
• BA Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, leading requirement-gathering sessions and creating detailed business documentation.
• Salesforce Expertise: Hands-on experience working directly with Salesforce Sales Cloud .
• Availability: Capability to consistently work 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT Monday - Friday, along with flexibility to support planned evening releases (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM PT).
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex business needs to technical teams and technical concepts to business leaders. Preferred Skills & Certifications.
• Salesforce Specialty Clouds: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Communities) and/or Salesforce Field Service (FSL).
• Tooling: Direct experience using Jira for agile backlog management, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and Lucidchart for process mapping.
• Salesforce certifications preferred but not required
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $92,118 to $140,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or variable bonus programs.
