Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to support quality assurance and test automation for Salesforce CRM applications. The role will focus on API testing using Postman, UI automation using Playwright with TypeScript, and Salesforce CRM testing. Experience in the Finance or Banking domain is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for Salesforce applications.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs.
• Develop and maintain UI automation using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Test Salesforce functionality including data models, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Process Builder.
• Develop and execute automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Perform test validation and troubleshooting using SOQL queries.
• Integrate automated testing into Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD processes.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams to ensure application quality and test coverage.
• Review and debug Apex code and LWC where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and QA processes.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-6 years of QA experience, including at least 2+ years of Salesforce test automation experience.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM, including the data model, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Process Builder.
• Strong hands-on experience with API testing using Postman.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Recent hands-on experience with Selenium and Cucumber is preferred.
• Experience testing Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience writing SOQL queries for test validation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with TestRail, Xray, or Salesforce test automation frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take ownership of testing activities and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Salesforce DX and scratch org workflows.
• Experience with performance or load testing.
• Experience in the Finance or Banking domain.
• Salesforce QA or Platform Developer certification.
• Ability to read and debug Apex code and LWC.
