Full Job Description
Were seeking an experienced Salesforce Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the Salesforce solutions that power our sales, marketing, legal, and business operations across Lyfts enterprise and partner ecosystems.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently design and develop customized Salesforce solutions using declarative tools (Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules) and programmatic approaches (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce)
  • Create and maintain complex data models, custom objects, fields, and relationships to support evolving business requirements across sales, marketing, legal, and finance teams
  • Evaluate, assess, and build robust integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms (Boomi, Workato), and ETL processes
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that deliver measurable business impact
  • Implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality and reliability
  • Follow established DevOps practices for code deployment, version control (Git), and release management across development, staging, and production environments
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent recurring problems while maintaining system uptime
  • Maintain data integrity and implement security best practices across all Salesforce implementations, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives while contributing to technical roadmap planning
  • Support MarTech stack consolidation initiatives and contribute to enterprise application architecture decisions that optimize operational efficiency
  • Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation within Salesforce processes to enhance user productivity and business outcomes
  • Maintain active Salesforce certifications and stay up to date with new products and features in the Salesforce ecosystem
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with a proven track record of delivering business-critical solutions in enterprise environments
  • Strong proficiency in Apex programming, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce declarative configuration tools
  • Experience building Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and familiarity with middleware platforms such as Boomi or Workato
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, version control systems (Git), and CI/CD practices for enterprise application deployment
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Active Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II or Application Architect certifications preferred
  • Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and database concepts with experience in data migration and transformation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to code quality and documentation
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products is a plus
  • Interest in exploring AI-powered solutions and automation opportunities within the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems integration patterns and experience supporting month-end financial processes is preferred

The expected base pay range for this position in the Seattle area is $108,560 - $135,700, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
