Work You'll Do

As a US Delivery Center Solution Specialist on the team, you will:
  • Develop and customize Salesforce user experiences using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Visualforce, integrated with back-end services (Apex/controllers)
  • Deliver responsive, cross-device interfaces and optimize front-end performance for complex, data-heavy pages
  • Partner with design, product, and engineering to implement features end-to-end; troubleshoot and resolve UI defects
  • Produce and maintain technical approach/design documentation and adhere to coding standards for clean, maintainable code
  • Build and enhance solutions across Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience/Communities, Knowledge) and configure the security model (Profiles, Permission Sets, OWD)
  • Create and distribute reports/dashboards, perform data loads/migrations (Data Loader/Import Wizard), and develop/maintain automation (Flow; legacy Workflow/Process Builder as needed)

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Salesforce customization/configuration across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, Experience Cloud, and Knowledge
  • Migration from Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience, including Visualforce-to-Lightning conversions and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) adoption
  • Front-end development with JavaScript, SLDS, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Back-end development with Apex (Triggers, Visualforce, Scheduled/Batch Apex) and related customizations
  • DevOps/PDLC and delivery tooling (Git, Jenkins, Jira, ANT, Change Sets, Force.com IDE), plus integrations (REST/SOAP, OAuth, SSO)
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:
    • Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia)
    • Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
    • Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
    • Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance
Preferred:
  • Salesforce certifications (preferred): Platform Developer I; Administrator or Platform App Builder; Platform Developer II; OmniStudio; Agentforce Specialist
  • Troubleshooting/defect resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues and bugs in Salesforce applications, including integrations and related components
  • ETL/integration tooling experience: Hands-on project experience with ETL and integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
  • Public sector experience (preferred): Experience supporting government/public sector clients (e.g., federal, state, local, or public agencies)
