Full Job Description
Salesforce Administrator (USA)

About the Role

The purpose of the Salesforce Administrator is to own the day-to-day health and evolution of our Salesforce platform, including configuration, automation, security, data quality, releases and integrations, and to be the go-to person for Salesforce across all our regions: USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia.

This role ensures that teams have someone to come to for answers, ideas and solutions, with the trust and autonomy to deliver them. The role is based in the United States (on-site/hybrid, Los Angeles, CA). The 10:00am - 6:00pm Pacific time working window, Monday to Friday, is deliberate: it gives live overlap with our Australian and Indonesian teams, so collaboration across regions happens in real time rather than through overnight handoffs.

The Salesforce Administrator reports to the Head of Technology (LA-based) and leads a Junior Salesforce Administrator based in Semarang, Indonesia. The role partners closely with our Technology team in Australia and our wider teams across the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Indonesia, and helps shape how the platform grows.

Key Outputs

Platform Ownership
  • Own day-to-day administration of our Salesforce Enterprise org, including users, profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules and security, keeping it well-governed and scalable.
  • Stay across Salesforce's seasonal releases and proactively recommend improvements to the platform and our processes.
  • Manage our relationship with Salesforce and Account Executive, advocating on behalf of the business when it comes to new features and software renewals.

Automation, Configuration and Solution Design
  • Gather requirements from sales and marketing stakeholders, challenge where needed, and translate them into well-documented solutions.
  • Design, build and maintain Flows, validation rules, approval processes, record types, page layouts and custom objects, with a bias toward clean, maintainable solutions.

Integrations, Releases and CI/CD
  • Support and monitor integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite and our sales engagement tools (Apollo.io), working with our iPaaS integration platform (Celigo) to troubleshoot and resolve sync issues.
  • Manage releases responsibly using sandboxes and CI/CD pipelines, with proper testing, peer review and documentation.

Data Quality, Reporting and Dashboards
  • Own data hygiene across the org, including imports and updates via Data Loader, deduplication and regular audits, and partner on data quality with our NetSuite team.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards that give sales leadership and regional teams clear visibility of pipeline and performance.

User Support, Enablement and Documentation
  • Be the first point of contact for Salesforce support in the US, deliver training, and write clear guides that drive adoption organization-wide.
  • Keep system docs, SOPs and admin guides current and genuinely useful.

People Leadership
  • Lead, mentor and develop the Junior Salesforce Administrator based in Semarang, Indonesia.
  • Delegate, prioritize and review their work to keep quality and standards consistent across the org.

Skills and Experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration, ideally as the primary admin of a live org supporting sales and operations teams.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (required). Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder is a strong plus.
  • Strong Flow skills and a solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model and governor limits.
  • Experience working with sandboxes, source-driven deployments and CI/CD tooling.
  • Experience supporting integrations and middleware, ideally with an ERP (NetSuite preferred).
  • Confident with lead-to-opportunity, sales stages, forecasting, and account and contact management.
  • Experience mentoring, supervising or guiding junior team members.
  • Nice to have: exposure to Marketing Cloud Next, Data Cloud or Marketing Cloud Engagement; experience with Celigo or a similar iPaaS tool; a background in building materials, manufacturing, distribution or B2B sales; familiarity with Agile or Kanban ways of working.
  • Strong understanding and experience of Change Management.
  • Please note that we require full permanent working rights for this position.

Behaviors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Much of the collaboration will be asynchronous with teams in other time zones.
  • A trusted partner who is comfortable partnering directly with sales leaders and our global Technology team.
  • Enjoys taking a business problem and turning it into a clean, scalable solution.
  • Self-directed, structured and detail-minded.
  • The judgement to prioritize competing requests and the confidence to push back when something isn't the right solution.
  • High degree of user empathy and curiosity when it comes to the pace of change in Technology.

In return, we'll give you...

Perks, benefits and the space to grow. We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package and plenty of opportunities for career growth and development. This includes:
  • Company laptop and company phone provided
  • 20 days PTO
  • 10 paid holidays (plus your birthday!)
  • Full health benefits after 60 days

  • Paid parental leave, so we can look after you while you welcome a new human

  • A culture of unbelievable hospitality
  • Opportunities you need to grow, develop and craft a career you're proud of within the global Eco Outdoor business
